The UPMSP UP Board exams for 2024 have commenced today with stringent security measures and vigilant invigilation in place. The Uttar Pradesh government has issued a press release outlining the steps taken to guarantee a smooth and impartial conduct of the examinations. The high school and intermediate exams of the UP Board are being conducted in two shifts, beginning at 8:30 am. Students are required to carry their admit cards along with other permissible items to the exam center.
To deter any potential disruptions, section 144 has been imposed in selected areas, preventing miscreants from gathering within a 100-meter radius of the exam centers. This year, the UP Board exams are under the scrutiny of live CCTV cameras, in addition to other existing precautions.
According to official directives, question papers will be opened under CCTV surveillance to prevent cheating. Armed forces and live CCTV monitoring have been arranged for 24-hour surveillance at collection centers and strong rooms. Inspections will be carried out by a specialized team to ensure compliance.
Deepak Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary of Secondary Education, provided details on the UP Board exams at Lok Bhawan on Wednesday, stating that this year’s exams will conclude within a total of 12 working days.
