NEET is a national-level medical entrance exam that is considered for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in Indian universities. The NEET exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The agency is also responsible for declaring the results and releasing the counselling schedule each year.
NEET Exam Pattern
NEET question paper is of 720 marks and consists of a total of 180 questions, 45 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. 4 marks are awarded for each correct answer 1 mark is deducted for every wrong answer. The exam duration is 3 hours 20 minutes (200 min). The paper is divided into two sections: A and B in all four subjects, i.e Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. Section A consists of 35 compulsory questions and Section B consists of 15 questions out of which 10 questions are to be answered.
