    jee main exam

Every year, thousands of students across India prefer medical and non-medical programs to become doctors and engineers. And India is honored to have world-class educational institutions such as AIIMS, IITs, NITs, and more for this field. Be it in the medical or engineering field, securing a seat in India’s top colleges is arduous. That’s why the IIT JEE Exam must be cracked by the students who wish to pursue engineering, as the exam itself has cut-throat competition and a vast syllabus that can overwhelm students.  Because of such high competition, many students opt for different preparation strategies to crack these competitive exams. For instance, some like to do self-study, and others go for coaching classes. Usually, the parents make these decisions, which is why parents need to know that coaching for entrance exams is not limited to the traditional classroom methods, but it’s more than that!

With the rise of COVID-19 pandemic all over the world, our society has been forced to go into a complete technology-driven mode from the past few months. The ongoing pandemic has made it impossible for us to manage our daily tasks as we earlier used to and now everything depends on technology and the world has fully dipped its feet into the online era. While it provides more time to students for preparation, the students are facing some roadblocks and changes due to the coaching classes being disrupted. Is the new system of online coaching proving out to be a better way of preparation. Or is offline coaching a better option? That’s why this article is written to make the reader understand the difference between online and offline coaching.

    Time Management

Online coaching definitely has an advantage in terms of time. Students save up the time that they used to waste to commute from their home to the coaching classes. Instead, students can use this time for extra study sessions.

Whereas in offline classes students have to travel to reach their coaching classes, a lot of time is wasted which could have been used for other things.

    Flexibility

Students can gain flexibility in online coaching as they can study as per their schedule. Whereas, offline coaching has a strict timetable that has to be followed by students.

    Interaction

Students are not able to interact with their teachers and fellow students. Whereas, in offline learning, students can ask questions to their teachers freely and also discuss them with their friends as soon as they have any doubts.

    Study Material

Online coaching provides students with the updated materials that have been studied to prepare well for the examination. However, in the case of offline learning study materials are provided by the offline coaching centres. Along with the regular study materials, the teachers also give out additional notes to help students with the exam preparation.

    Motivation

Online coaching may make the students a bit less motivated to keep up with their prepared study schedule. Whereas, offline coaching will not let the students lose their motivation since they will be physically present in the class and will have to follow a tight schedule.

    Conclusion

Both online and offline coaching have their advantages and disadvantages. What really matters at the end of the day is the way students are motivated to study. If the students do not have the enthusiasm to study, both online, as well as offline coaching, will not help them to achieve their dream scores.

So, hurry up and turn your boring self-study into fun learning!
