The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the exam dates for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2023 and the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2023 in Manipur. The decision to conduct these exams in the northeastern state of Manipur in June comes after careful consideration of the law and order situation. NEET-UG and CUET-UG Exam Dates in Manipur
The NEET UG 2023 will be administered in the pen and paper format and will take place on any day between June 3 and 5. On the other hand, the CUET UG 2023 will be held from June 5 to 8. Additionally, the CUET PG 2023 will proceed as scheduled, taking place from June 5 to 17.
In light of the situation, the NTA has provided an option for candidates in Manipur who were unable to appear for the NEET UG 2023 and CUET UG 2023 due to the law and order concerns. These candidates, regardless of whether they had downloaded their admit cards or not, have the opportunity to change their exam city.
NEET-UG and CUET-UG in Manipur- City Options
Candidates can choose from the following cities: Aizawl, Kohima/Dimapur, Guwahati, Shillong, Jorhat, Silchar, Kolkata, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Imphal. From May 26, 7 am, until May 30, 7 pm, students will be able to select their preferred exam city using the Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS). They will receive an application form for the respective exam via a message on their registered mobile number.
After selecting the exam city, candidates will be assigned an exam center in their chosen city, and admit cards will be issued accordingly. A message containing the details will be sent to the candidates’ registered mobile numbers. For those who were unable to download their admit cards due to a lack of internet connectivity, the hall tickets will be available at the office of the concerned city coordinator. Additionally, the admit cards can also be obtained from the District Headquarters.
These measures have been implemented to ensure that candidates in Manipur can participate in the exams under safe and suitable conditions.
