On October 28, 2021, the Supreme court has ordered NTA to announce the results of the NEET 2021 exams, which were held on September 12, and almost 16 lakh candidates appeared for it, who have been eagerly waiting for the results.
The decision will bring relief to lakhs of candidates, who have taken the examination as the Supreme Court has ordered the National Testing Agency (NTA) to release the NEET 2021 results.
The order from Bombay High Court, against which NTA asked Supreme Court to intervene has still not been sorted. SC held the hearings for the NEET re-exam for two candidates from Solapur, Abhishek Shivaji, and Vaishnavi Bhopali.
During the hearing, the NTA accepted that there was indeed a mistake caused by Invigilators, which resulted in the mismatch of 6 answer sheets. The court has asked NTA to report with a plan on what should be done for the two candidates who are facing the consequences due to the confusion that happened on exam day.
The students can check the results on the NTA website https://www.nta.ac.in/examresult and on the NEET 2021 portal – https://neet.nta.nic.in/ Candidates can also download their scorecard using the registration details when it is released.
