Hello, everyone. I’m Surya Siddharth. I joined Aakash in ninth for a foundation course for two years and in 11th, medically integrated for two years. My father is a software engineer. My mother is a housewife and I have an elder brother. He’s studying electrical engineering at IIT Madras. Till the eighth standard, I was unclear about whether to take medical or engineering, so I joined Aakash’s two-year foundation course. By the end of then, it became clear that I wanted to pursue a career in medicine. So I joined the 11th and 12th, two-year medical integrated classroom course. My parents wanted me to become a doctor and serve the society. So I decided to take a doctorate as a profession. I choose Aakash by juice because the previous year, need results from Aakash were very impressive. Also, it was one of the best institutes for medical preparation. And also I took advice from my seniors, relatives, and friends, and they told Aakash was very good. So I decided to join Aakash. My preparation strategy was that I was very consistent and determined in my preparation. I attended all classes regularly and took proper notes. In addition to this, I also participated in the various tests conducted. And after each test, I did my error analysis, which helped me to cover my weak areas. In addition to this, NCERT Maps was also provided by Aakash which was a wonderful tool for quick revision. Not only this, but I also participated in the previous year’s papers which helped me brush up on all my concepts.
I started my journey with Rcast by juice in the ninth standard. And as I wrote, many tests I became familiar with the way questions were asked. And also the material provided by Aakash was in-depth and I could easily understand all concepts. So this increased my performance in school as well as in Aakash. And also whenever I had doubts, I came to the center and asked my doubts to the teachers and they always helped me understand the concept thoroughly with proper explanation.
The syllabus for both NEET and board exams is the same as NCERT. Therefore, students are advised to study from the NCERT Textbooks thoroughly. Nowadays, indeed, more than 90 % of the questions are coming from NCERT. So while I was reading NCERT, I did not refer to many other sources.

And if I even had doubts about that, I went to the branch and I approached my teachers and I cleared all my doubts. Also after completing each lesson, I saw the NCERT liners and NCERT maps and also the polls, which were amazing tools that helped in my NEET Preparation. So that helped in strengthening my concepts and also I cleared all my doubts and I was able to find in which topics I was weak.
For the physics and chemistry chapters, I wrote the important formulas in a notebook for each chapter. And before each test, I made sure to revise the same. Also during the last days, I made sure to attempt at least one test daily. And after each test, I attended the doubting class and cleared all my doubts. During the last few months, everyone started pressuring me but I did not take much stress and went on my own way.
I took the relaxation so that my preparation was also good and I was also stress-free. Also, I took care of my health during the last few months because that is very crucial. My advice for NEET aspirants is that stay consistent, be thorough with the NCERT Textbooks, and try to attend all the tests. Also, do not worry if you get less marks in these exams as it’s just to help you know your weak areas and keep working towards your goal.
