The results of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) were declared on Monday Novermber1, 2021 and Mrinal Kutteri topped the medical entrance examination from Telangana. Mrinal secured All India Rank (AIR) 1 by scoring 720 marks out of 720. An aspiring doctor, Mrinal said, “At school, I read the CBSE Curriculum. I studied at Aakash Institute for the NEET Examination and enrolled myself in the 2-year classroom program.

His father is an HR Consultant and his mother is a Software Engineer. Till his Class 9, he too wanted to be an engineer. However, he changed his mind, realizing that he would be able to help society more if he was to choose medicine. Determined to crack the exam, Mrinal started with his preparations early on.
His success mantra involved a focussed routine and balanced study schedule. Mindful of managing pressure and taking adequate breaks, Mrinal kept a strong balance in their personal life. For books, he sought NCERT as the main material and found the material provided by Aakash Institute quite helpful. I did not leave my hobbies while preparing for NEET. I think that to do so would have been counterproductive. Lockdown took a toll on Mrinal as well. While it helped save the time of commute, studying at home brought with it its challenges and distractions. His family stepped up and helped him create an environment conducive to the same.
