    JEE is the national-level undergraduate entrance exam for engineering students. It involves two stages i.e. JEE Main and JEE Advanced. To appear for these exams, aspirants require hard work, dedication, and effort. This makes them successful in JEE and gets admission at IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other top colleges in India. To achieve this success, you need to put in your days and night and study as much as you can.

    If you are a JEE aspirant, you would know the value of time. The 24 hours of the day are also considered to be very less. Especially when a few months are left for the JEE exam and you have a lot of syllabi to cover, revisions to be done, and a few sample papers to be solved.

Preparing a daily routine for the IIT JEE examination is essential because it allows IIT JEE aspirants to start their exam preparation well. This also gives you enough time for self-study. The timetable for IIT JEE exams will provide aspirants with an idea of how to proceed further for JEE preparation.

    While creating an effective timetable for JEE, you need to be smart enough. You must utilize your 24 hours with appropriate breaks or intervals in between your study. Keep the following things in mind while preparing an effective timetable for JEE 2023:

    6:30 am – 7:00 am Get ready for school (adjustable as per your school timings)
    7:30 am – 1:30 pm School timings (Solve problems from question banks in the free periods)
    2 pm – 2:30 pm Lunch, take a short nap if required
    2:30 pm – 5:30 pm Study from coaching modules, homework, assignments
    6 pm – 9 pm Online Coaching
    9 pm – 10 pm Dinner, study break, entertainment
    10 pm – 11 pm Make notes, revise stuff
    11 pm Sleep

    Best Timetable and Routine for JEE Preparation (For holidays, students not attending school, droppers)

    Time Activity
    6:30 am – 8 am Wake up, Breakfast and other essentials
    8:00 am – 11:00 am Solve Physics or Mathematics, new concepts, weak areas
    11:00 am – 12:00 pm Break – Do anything that relaxes your mind
    12:00 pm – 2 pm Homework, assignments, exercises
    2:00 pm – 3:00 pm Have lunch, take a small nap if required
    3:00 pm – 5:00 pm Coaching pre-study, read subject which you find interesting
    5:00 pm – 6:00 pm Tea/ Coffee + snacks, evening walk, game, etc.
    6:00 pm – 9:00 pm Coaching (Online)
    9:00 pm – 10:00 pm Dinner, family time, entertainment, etc.
    10:00 pm – 11:00 pm Make notes and Revise what you study throughout the day
    11:00 pm Sleep

    1. How many attempts are allowed for JEE Main 2023?
    Candidates are allowed to take the JEE Main exam multiple times before they reach the age of 25. However, the number of attempts a candidate can make in a given year is limited. As per the recent updates from NTA, candidates can take JEE Main 2023 a maximum of two times in a year.
    2. How many times can I give JEE in 2023?

    Students will be able to appear in the exam two times a year. Also, students can appear in JEE Main for three consecutive years from the year of passing their class 12 exam. 
    3. How many hours should a JEE Main aspirant study?

    Studying 4 to 5 hours a day starting from 11th class will be helpful for JEE. As the exam date approaches, the study hours need to be increased to 8 hours. Focus more on revision and solving last year’s JEE Mains and Advanced question papers.
    4. Is 12th marks important in JEE 2023?

    It is mandatory for students to secure a minimum of 75% marks (65% for SC/ST category) or be top 20 percentile scorer in class 12 to be eligible for NITs, IIITs and GFTIs.
    5. Does JEE 2023 require 75?

    From 2023, candidates will need to qualify in JEE Main, and score at least 75% marks in Class 12 board exams to take admission in these institutes.
