How Spirituality Helped Him to Stay Connected

What really stands out is his understanding of how spirituality helped him stay grounded and remain connected to himself. He mentions that his parents helped him to connect him to his spiritual side. How did I prepare for JEE?

It was while studying at Aakash for the foundation course in Classes 9 and 10 that I decided I would pursue engineering. I am good at mathematics and thought engineering would be a good choice for me,” says the JEE Main topper. He started preparing for JEE from Class 9 as integrated into the foundation course. He levelled up his preparation from Class 11 onwards. “I devoted almost all my time to my studies and took very few break.” In addition to this, I never failed to skip any test conducted by Aakash. These tests really helped me because these tests were conducted syllabus-wise. Through these tests, we will get an idea about what marks we will gain in the paper and how our preparation is for the topic. If we secure fewer marks, then we can revise the topics accordingly.

Last Month’s Preparation Strategy

The last month before the exam is very crucial during JEE Preparation and students face a lot of challenges during this month. The biggest challenge I faced was the important topics for the JEE Mains preparation, I performed very poorly in those topics and I did not give much attention to them in the beginning. It was when the exam time came near, that I got to know that I am getting fewer marks on the test so I started taking care of these tests. Therefore, it is very important to revise during this time as we have to cover a vast syllabus. When I started revising then I started improving my rank and performed well in the exam. Aakash Byju’s has been the biggest support for my success in JEE Mains. There was nothing I had to worry about. The study material was provided, tests were taken regularly, and proper doubt-clearing was carried out at Aakash. All this really helped me and provided a good direction to move forward. 

How Does Time Management Help?

He emphasized the importance of appearing for a lot of mock tests and participating in the previous year’s question papers. Previous year’s papers can give you a good idea about how the exam would be carried out. He also mentions that mock tests help to build your preparation strategy better. He states ‘Time management is a very crucial aspect that you can learn only when you participate in various mock tests. Managing both board exams and competitive exams isn’t always easy. When preparing for JEE, he was able to more or less complete his preparation for physics, chemistry, and mathematics well within time. 

What are Your Future Plans?

Dhruv is not sure if he would be appearing in the April session of the JEE Main 2023 exam. His main target now is to clear JEE Advanced 2023. He states  “I am aiming for IIT Bombay. I am yet to decide on which engineering specialization to take up.”  He will now appear for the Board Exams 2023 which is scheduled to begin in a few weeks

Therefore, hard work is the most important aspect. If you persist with it, you will definitely see results.
