The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to commence the second session of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main starting today, April 4. According to the timetable, the JEE Main Session 2 exam will span from April 4 to April 12. The first shift will kick off from 9 am to 12 noon, while the second shift is slated from 3 pm to 6 pm. It’s crucial for every candidate to acquaint themselves with important guidelines and details regarding admit cards.
JEE Main 2024: Exam Day Guidelines
- Candidates are strongly advised to report to the examination center on time, i.e., at least 2 hours before the exam commencement.
- Upon the opening of the examination hall, candidates must promptly take their seats. Any delay due to reasons such as traffic congestion or train delays may result in missing vital instructions announced at the examination center.
- NTA will not assume responsibility for any delays.
- Candidates must ensure that the question paper provided on the computer corresponds to the subject specified on their Admit card.
- Electronic gadgets (Phones/Tablets, etc.) are strictly prohibited inside the Examination Hall.
JEE Main 2024: Documents To Carry
- A hard copy of the admit card along with a self-declaration downloaded from the NTA official website – Printed out on an A4 size sheet.
- One Passport Size Photograph – Identical to the one uploaded on the Online Application Form.
- Any one of the Original ID Proofs – (Aadhar Card/Voter ID Card/School ID Card/PAN Card/Passport/Driving License/E-Aadhaar Card with photo/Ration Card with picture.)
- Board Admit Card with a photograph.
- If the candidate is availing relaxation under the PwD category, a PwD Certificate from an authorized medical officer is required.
The JEE Main 2024 Session 2 exam will be conducted across multiple centers in approximately 319 cities nationwide, including 22 cities outside India. The results for the JEE Main 2024 Session 2 exam are scheduled to be announced on April 25, 2024.
