The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to commence the second session of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 on April 4. Candidates who have registered can access their hall tickets from the official JEE Main 2023 website at jeemain.nta.ac.in.
The exam for the second session will take place between April 4 and 12. Those seeking to enhance their scores from session 1 were permitted to appear for session 2 exams. In such cases, the higher of the two scores will be considered in merit preparation.
Required Documents:
Candidates must ensure to carry their JEE Main admit card along with a self-declaration downloaded from the NTA website (clear printout on A4 size paper) duly filled in. An additional photograph is required to be pasted on the attendance sheet. Identification proof such as an Aadhaar card or PAN Card is mandatory.
Other Necessary Items:
Students can carry their city slip, although it is not mandatory. Permitted items in the exam hall include a transparent ballpoint pen, personal hand sanitizer (50 ml, if required), a transparent water bottle, and sugar tablets/fruits for diabetic candidates. Prohibited Items:
Candidates are strictly prohibited from carrying instruments, geometry or pencil boxes, handbags, purses, any paper/stationery/textual material (printed or written), eatables and water (loose or packed), mobile phones/earphones/microphones/pagers, calculators, Docupen, slide rules, log tables, cameras, tape recorders, electronic watches with calculator facilities, any metallic items, or electronic gadgets/devices to the examination center.
Exam Schedule:
The exam will be conducted in two shifts: the first from 9 am to 12 pm and the second from 3 pm to 6 pm. Candidates can enter the examination center at 7:30 am for the morning shift and at 2 pm for the evening shift.
Post-Instructions:
After the invigilator provides instructions, candidates can log in to read instructions at 8:50 am for the first shift and at 2:50 pm for the second shift.
