    Recently the National Testing Agency released a notification about JEE Main 2022 on their official website. As per the latest notification, the NTA has removed 75% marks criteria from the minimum eligibility percentage norms. However when it comes to JEE Mains Arch & Planning candidates must score a minimum of 50% marks in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics along with 50% aggregate in the overall examination. 

    The application forms for JEE Mains 2022 were released on March 1, by NTA on their official website. If you’re applying for the JEE Mains, it is advised to check the eligibility criteria for jee main 2022 before filling out the application form.

    JEE Mains 2022 Exam Dates

    The JEE Mains 2022 entrance exam will be conducted by NTA in two sessions. Session 1 took place from 23rd to 29th June. The second session will take place from 25 to 30 July 2022. The last day for filling out JEE Mains 2022 application forms is March 31. 

    JEE Main 2022 Exam – Revised Eligibility

    Out of all students, the top 2,50,000 candidates will be eligible for attempting JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Mains. The number of attempts has also been reduced students can attempt the exam twice in two consecutive years. The students attempting JEE Mains should have given the class 12 exam in 2021 or 2022 with PCM. 

    Special Case Criteria for JEE Advanced 2022

    Students who passed their 12 classes in 2021-2022, registered for JEE Advanced but could not appear for the examination are also eligible to appear for JEE Advanced  2022 exam. As per the notification by NTA, this is a one-time thing that is only applicable for JEE Advanced 2022 due to the ongoing covid situation. 

    JEE Main 2022: NTA Introduced Three-Step Registration Process

    NTA (National Testing Agency) has also simplified the registration process as it has divided the overall registration process into three stages. In the first stage, candidates will have to register themselves on the portal and generate their application number and password. In the second stage, candidates will have to fill the application form with personal details, select cities, provide educational details, etc. In the third and final stage, candidates will have to pay the fee.
