    The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the JEE Main 2022 test pattern as well as the official announcement on its website jeemain.nta.nic.in. In April and May, the JEE Main 2022 exam will be held for Paper 1 (B.E/B.Tech) and 2 (B.Arch or B.Plan). Furthermore, students taking the Joint Entrance Examination Main 2022 Exam should review the JEE Main eligibility requirements, which the National Testing Agency (NTA) has posted on the official website.

    According to the JEE Main 2022 exam format, both exams will be held online in computer-based mode, except for the Drawing examination for B.Arch. According to the JEE Main 2022 test format, each topic consists of 20 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and 10 Numerical Value Questions (NVQs), with just 5 questions being mandatory. Therefore, candidates get recommended to thoroughly review the JEE Main exam pattern 2022 before the start of the test since it informs them about the method of the exam, the number of sections and questions, the type of questions, the marking scheme, and so on.

    JEE Main Exam Pattern – What’s New

    The National Testing Agency has implemented marking in section B of JEE Main 2022. There was previously no negative marking for numerical response type questions.

    JEE Main 2022 Syllabus

    The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the curriculum for JEE Mains 2022 and the official booklet on their website. Therefore, students should be familiar with the JEE Main 2022 syllabus and the test format. Knowledge of the JEE Main syllabus 2022 can help students design a solid study schedule and study the relevant topics for the entrance test.

    The JEE Mains syllabus 2022 is based on the 11th and 12th-grade physics, math, and chemistry curriculum. As a result, students should begin their test preparation with the JEE syllabus. In addition, students are challenged to take as many JEE Main 2022 mock tests as possible to understand better the exam’s difficulty level and JEE 2022 syllabus with weightage.

    JEE Main Marking Scheme MCQs: Four marks will be granted MCQs:Each right answer will be rewarded with four marks,

    and for each wrong response, one mark will be deducted.

    Type of Questions Questions with numerical value answers:

    Candidates will be given four marks for

    every correct answer, and each wrong answer contains 1 negative mark.

    JEE Main Exam Pattern 2022: Paper 2 (B.Arch & B.Plan)

    Students who want to take the JEE Main 2022 paper 2 find the test pattern for B.Arch and B.Plan below. Except for the Drawing component of the B.Arch. Paper, both papers will be held online. The entire JEE Main 2022 test pattern for Paper 2 is shown in the tables below.

    JEE Main 2022 Exam Pattern: Total Questions

    JEE Main has three separate BTech, BArch, and B.Plan examinations. Each of these exams will have a different total number of questions. The following is a breakdown of subject-specific questions:

    • JEE Mains Paper-1 (BTech) total Questions

    In JEE Main Paper-1, there will be 90 questions. The NTA administers the exam for admission to BTech programmes. Check the table below for information on the total number of questions in JEE Mains Paper-1 (BTech):

    No, there will not be a break in the JEE Main examination. The test will last three hours in total.
