JEE Advanced 2024 Information Brochure has been released. The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras is conducting the exam and has released the brochure, including the details from eligibility criteria to admit card. Candidates can download the same from the official website – jeeadv.ac.in. The registrations for JEE Advanced 2024 will begin on April 21, 2024, from 10 AM onwards till April 30, 2024, till 5 PM Onwards.
JEE Advanced 2024 exam is scheduled on May 26, 2024, for two papers – Paper 1 will be conducted in the morning shift from 9 AM to 12 PM and Paper 2 in the afternoon shift from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Each of the papers consists of three separate sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Admit cards for the same will be issued on May 17, 2024, at 10 AM and will remain available for downloading till May 26, 2024, at 2:30 PM.
Candidates should be in the top 2,50,000 successful candidates in B.E./B.Tech. paper of JEE (Main) 2024. The candidates must be born or after October 1, 1999. For SC, ST, and PwD candidates, five years of age relaxation is given. The percentage of various categories to be shortlisted is – 10 percent for GEN-EWS, 27 percent for OBC-NCL, 15 percent for SC, 7.5 percent for ST and the remaining 40.5 percent is open for all.
As per the notice, within each of these five categories, a 5% horizontal reservation is available for PwD candidates. OCI/PIO card holders who have secured their OCI/PIO card before March 4, 2024, are considered as Indian Nationals based on seat allocation to IITs.
