JEE Advanced (Joint Entrance Examination Advanced) is an engineering entrance exam conducted by one of the seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) on behalf of the Joint Admission Board (JAB). The exam is a national-level exam and is considered one of the toughest exams in India. Only the top 2.5 lakh candidates from JEE Main are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. The exam consists of two papers, each containing three parts- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. IIT Guwahati will conduct JEE Advanced on June 4, 2023, in computer-based test mode. JEE Advanced 2023 registration will start on April 30. The last date to apply will be May 4. JEE Advanced will be held in 2 shifts. The paper 1 exam will be held from 9 am to 12 noon. The paper 2 exams will be held from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

Academic Qualifications
- The top 2,50,000 JEE Main qualifying candidates are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced.
