The JEE Advanced 2021 result was announced on October 15 and the JoSAA counseling process begins today. Qualified candidates can fill their choices on the JoSAA website starting October 16, 2021, at 10:00 IST. The choice filling ends on October 21, 2021.
The registration for AAT has been closed as it started on October 15, 2021, at 10:00 IST, and ended on October 16, 2021, at 17:00 IST. Kavya Chopra and Mridul Agarwal scored the top ranks in JEE Advanced 2021. If we look at the bigger picture, the no. of total candidates who appeared in both paper 1 and 2 is 1,41,699, out of which the no. of candidates who qualified the exam were 41862. The total number of female candidates who qualified for JEE Advanced 2021 was 6452.
A total number of 1741 Aakashians qualified in JEE Advanced 2021, out of which 31 were in the top 100, 151 in the top 500, and 251 in the top 10,000.
JEE Advanced 2021 Cut-Off as per Reservation
The rank list has been released for JEE Advanced 2021, as per reserved categories. They have slightly different marks for qualifying. The students have to secure minimum qualifying marks for each of the three subjects, and aggregate to be included in these rank lists.

To be eligible for the Joint Seat Allocation Counselling process, a candidate must score at least a minimum score as per the JEE Advanced cut-off. Those who do not get seats via JoSAA counseling are eligible to apply later for CSAB counseling.

Factors determining the final JEE Advanced cut-off:
- Number of students appearing for the exam.
- Availability of the seats.
- Student’s performance in the exam.

- The difficulty level of the exam.
List of Institutes That Admit Candidates On The Basis Of JEE Advanced Marks
There are 107 institutes that participate in JEE Advanced, including IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology), IIITs (Indian Institutes of International Technology), NITs (National Institute of Technology), and GFTIs (Government Funded Technical Institutes). The allocation of seats, courses, and institutes is decided via JoSAA counseling.

JEE Advanced 2021: Opening and closing ranks for the IITs
The opening and closing ranks to get admission in IITs this year will only be available after all rounds of the JoSAA counseling process. The registration and choice filling for JoSAA 2021 have already started and candidates can select their choice of colleges and courses from October 16 to 25.
Two rounds of mock allotment will be held for helping the candidates to help them in making the right choices during real allotment rounds. There will be 6 rounds in JoSAA 2021, and the results will be released online after each round.
