MTA (I) released the IOQM registration 2023-24 form on July 10, 2023, on mtai.org.in. IOQM 2023-24 last date to register is August 5, 2023. IOQM is open to students from classes 8 to 12. INO-qualified students of 2022 are also eligible for IOQM exam registration 2023-24. Students can submit the registration form online on the official website. Students will be required to pay an IOQM 2023 registration fee of Rs 200 online. Students are advised to keep the registration number safe to check IOQM Result 2023 online.
Once students fill out the IOQM form 2023-24, they can download the admission card from the official website.

IOQM Registration 2023-24: Eligibility Criteria
- Students who are born between August 1, 2004, and January 1, 2011, are eligible to register for IOQM.
- Students who are studying Class 8, 9, 10, 11, or 12 are able to register.
- IOQM 2023-24 registration forms must be filled out only by those who meet the age requirements listed in point number 1.
- The IOQM 2023-24 application form may be completed by Indian citizens and OCI cardholders.
- Students with OCI cards are unable to compete for the Indian team in the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO).

What after IOQM?
The International Mathematical Olympiad will be conducted in 6 stages. At each stage, students will have to keep a few pointers in mind. Students who will qualify for the first stage, Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM) will be eligible to appear for the Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO) 2023-24 which is the second stage exam.
Students who will get selected in the RMO exam will be eligible to appear in the third stage exam – Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO).
Important Pointers Regarding IOQM
- It is the responsibility of the student to ensure that the IOQM eligibility criteria are met. In case it is found at any later stage that a student does not meet the eligibility criteria, he or she may be disqualified.
- Any student who scores at least 10% of the total marks on the IOQM 2023 paper will receive a certificate.
- A student has to score at least 10% of the total marks of the IOQM 2023 paper in order to be eligible to appear for RMO 2023 but this is not the sole qualifying criterion.
- Any student who has scored at least 10% of the total marks of the IOQM 2023 paper and enrolled for IOQM 2023 as a student of one of the classes 8,9,10,11 will be classified as a Category A student.
- Any student who has scored at least 10% of the total marks of the IOQM 2023 paper and enrolled for IOQM 2023 as a student of class 12 will be classified as a Category B student.
- The top 200 students from Category A will qualify for RMO 2023 along with those tied in the 200th position. The top 40 students from Category B will qualify for RMO 2023 along with those tied in the 40th position.
- 5 additional girl students from Category A irrespective of the number of girl students qualifying in the top 200 students from Category A will qualify for RMO 2023 under the Girls’ quota
There is no separate Girls’ quota for Category B. A girl student of Category B can qualify for RMO 2023 from IOQM 2023 if and only if she is selected among the top 40 students in Category B.
