Admission process in NITs through JEE Main 2021
1. Filling JEE Main 2021 application form
Candidates need to complete their JEE Main 2021 registration. Once the registration is successful, candidates need to fill the JEE Main application form. NTA will release the JEE Main April and May application form on the official website.
2. Appearing in JEE Main 2021
All the registered applicants have to appear for the JEE Main exam. NTA has successfully conducted JEE Main 2021 for February and March sessions. However, due to the rise in COVID-19 cases, JEE Main 2021 exam date will be announced later on the official website of NTA.
3. JOSAA Registration
The next step is to complete JOSAA registration from the official website. All the shortlisted candidates have to fill in the JOSAA registration form.
4. Allocation of Seats
Candidates based on JEE Main rank will be allotted seats in various NITs. All the candidates satisfied with the seats allocated to them have to lock the seat and pay the acceptance fee in the online mode.
5. Document Verification
Candidates allotted seats in the JOSAA Counselling have to report to the institute for remaining fee payment and document verification.
