“Once you have mastered time, you will understand how true it is that most people overestimate what they can accomplish in a year – and underestimate what they can achieve in a decade!”                                                                                                                                                       – Anthony Robbins

With the NEET 2018 exam approaching, you must be thinking about how to speed up the revision process to reach the peak of your academic success in one go. However, do you know, in addition to revising the study material, you should also learn effective time management? So, you score those grades you have been working hard for! When you are working hard towards achieving a goal, it is important to manage the time wisely. There are undoubtedly a number of benefits that can be enjoyed by practicing time management. So, if you are aiming for the upcoming NEET examination, here’s how time management can help you score well.

It Will Keep You Away from Procrastination

With the big day just a few days away, procrastination should be the last thing on your list. By making a schedule and practicing time management, you will be able to get more out of the day. Plan your day in a way that each subject gets equal weightage and all that you have planned for the day gets covered without leaving you feel tired. Knowing the number of chapters that must be revised in a day will help you in knowing how much free time you have to spare during the day.

It Will Keep You Away from Last Minute Stress

One of the most important gifts that time management gives is that it keeps stress at bay. The year-long preparation for NEET can make anyone feel stressed; however, if there is a schedule that will help you in knowing what needs to be completed, you will automatically start feeling less stressed about the upcoming examination. When time management is put into practice, the chances of accomplishing any goal are higher while there is less room for friction. Lack of time management can lead to stress, take a toll on health and hamper performance.

It Will Lend You More Time for Relaxation

It’s true; all work and no play can make anyone dull. With time management, you will have ample amount of time in hand for relaxation without worrying about revision. A proper schedule in place helps you in knowing when exactly you can pursue your hobbies or just lay down on a recliner to have the time of your life. A proper balance between study and relaxation will keep your mind fresh and help you to be happier while preparing for the upcoming NEET examination.

    It Helps in Setting Priorities

When preparing for a tough nut like NEET, one of the most important things to do is to set the priority. For example, if you need more time for Physics, dedicate maximum hours of the day to the subject. Follow the same approach for other subjects as well. This planning will help increase your awareness while keeping you away from squandering your time meaninglessly. When you have your priorities set straight, you will know which path to follow to complete the revision well in time. So, make the most of the days left in hand by practicing time management.

It Helps You in Dividing Time

NEET examination is all about how fast you can answer all the 180 questions in the given number of hours. If you calculate, you get exactly one minute to solve each question. With time management, you will be able to divide time and answer maximum questions effectively. How you structure your time, will of course, vary according to the way you work, and the sort of questions you’ve got to answer. When solving sample papers, start by answering the ones that take less than a minute to solve. Doing this, you have extra time on hand for those that will take more than a minute to solve.

It Helps You Track Your Progress

Last but not the least, effective time management will help you track your progress regarding what all is pending to revise. With a track on your progress, you will be able to plan the upcoming days effectively. The best way is to stick to your timetable, and you will know that you are on course to get everything done before the day of the exam.

Proper scheduling is the key to getting the most from all your activities. Time management also helps create a good study-life balance and will benefit you in many areas of your life for years to come. Follow these tips wisely and also check your score through our Mark Evaluator.

All the best for the upcoming exam, score well and make yourself and your parents proud.
