Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, GSEB is conducting the Gujarat Common Entrance Test on April 3, 2023. All those candidates appearing for the exam must note that the paper will be held in two shifts from 10 am to 12 pm and next from 2 pm to 4 pm. The exam is for a total of 240 marks – 120 marks for each shift. GUJCET exam is a pen and paper test. The GUJCET exam will contain questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from GSEB class 12. Candidates must note that it is mandatory to carry the admit card with a valid photo ID otherwise students will be denied entry to the exam hall.
GUJCET Exam 2023 What’s Allowed and What’s Not allowed
Here is the list of items that are allowed and prohibited in the examination centre:
- Candidates must carry their hall ticket without which no student will be allowed to enter the exam centre
- No electronic devices such as mobile phones, Bluetooth speakers, laptop, tablet pcs, digital watches and any other devices are allowed inside the exam hall
- No eating packets are allowed inside the venue
- Students must carry a transparent water bottle, pen, pencil, and other stationary items of your own
- Once the question paper is distributed, read the questions thoroughly before you start writing.
- Try to attempt all the questions to avoid losing marks
GUJCET Exam 2023: Last Minute Exam Guidelines
Here are some general guidelines to help you prepare for an exam day:
- Make sure to get a good night’s sleep before the exam day. Being well-rested will help you stay alert and focused during the exam.
- Eating a healthy breakfast will give you the energy you need to concentrate during the exam. Avoid heavy, greasy, or sugary foods that could make you feel sluggish.
- Arriving early at the exam venue will give you time to settle in, get organized, and review any notes or materials you have brought with you.
- Make sure you have all the necessary materials you need for the exam, such as pens, pencils, erasers, calculators, and any other materials that may be required.
- Try to stay calm and relaxed during the exam. Take deep breaths and focus on the questions in front of you.
- Be mindful of the time during the exam and pace yourself accordingly. Don’t spend too much time on one question and risk running out of time for the rest of the exam.
- Read the instructions for each question carefully. Make sure you understand what is being asked of you before you start answering.
- If you have time at the end of the exam, review your answers carefully. Look for any mistakes or errors you may have made and make any necessary corrections.
