The NEET UG 2018 aspirants are anxiously waiting for the High Court hearing. In the last hearing, the court had directed the NTR university of Health Sciences to prepare a list with details of candidates who have secured admissions in medical colleges under open and reserved categories, their marks and ranks.
As the next phase of counselling is on hold, a large number of aspirants are planning to secure admissions in medical colleges of other states. However, the officials of NTR universities of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) have prepared a list with detailed information. It includes various details such as the admission in the last two years and the current years counselling process.
The second round of registration, payment, and choice filling for NEET 2018 counselling was earlier started on July 6, 2018. Candidates who had already registered for the first round need not register again, but rather could submit their choice of colleges. Candidates who did not register earlier could freshly register and make relevant choices. However, the seats that were left vacant after the first round of NEET 2018 counselling were included in the second round. The NTRUHS Registrar stated that we will provide the court with details of the meritorious students who secured admissions in the reserved category and the candidates who secured the seats as per the implementation of 550.
In accordance with the Bombay High Court Nagpur Bench orders, the second round of counseling has been put on hold again. Two official notices are released by MCC regarding the stay on the NEET Counselling process. Candidates are advised to keep in touch with the official website of MCC for any more information.
A large number of candidates qualified for NEET counselling 2018. The counseling of NEET 2018 will be led by the DGHS for AIQ seats in two rounds and for Deemed and Central universities in three rounds. The seats which will remain vacant after two rounds of NEET counseling 2018 will be moved to the respective state counseling authorities. The DGHS will conduct a NEET 2018 mop up counseling round for Deemed and Central Universities from August 12 to August 26, 2018, followed by another mop-up round for BDS seats between September 1 and September 11, 2018. Counselling for state quota seats will be conducted by the different state counseling authorities during the same period.
But, before going for the second-round counseling process, candidates are required to carry out the following documents:
- NEET 2018 Admit Card
- NEET 2018 Rank letter or NEET Result
- Class 10 Certificate and Marksheet
- Class 12 Certificate and Marksheet
- ID Proof (Aadhaar/ PAN/Driving License/Passport)
- Eight passport size photographs
- Provisional allotment letter generated online after allotment
- Community certificate (if applicable)
