Yesterday, on July 15, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the results of the CUET UG 2023 examination. This year, the exam was conducted in nine phases from May to June nationwide. According to the University Grants Commission (UGC), an impressive number of approximately 19.2 lakh candidates appeared for the entrance test, showcasing a remarkable 100% increase compared to last year’s 9.6 lakh participants. It is noteworthy that the CUET UG exam was introduced for the first time in 2022. In a Twitter post, UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar expressed his delight at the surge in numbers, highlighting that the previous year saw 9.6 lakh students taking the CUET-UG, while this year’s figures witnessed a significant jump to 19.2 lakhs. He also conveyed his optimistic outlook, expecting these numbers to continue to grow in the years to come.

For the academic year of CUET UG 2023, a national-level entrance test, a comprehensive total of 249 universities have adopted the examination results as the basis for conducting their admissions.
When analyzing the subject-wise results of the CUET UG 2023 examination, it is noteworthy that English emerged with the highest number of 100 percentile scorers, reaching an impressive count of 5,685 individuals. Following closely behind is the field of Biology/ Biological Studies/ Biotechnology/Biochemistry, with 4,850 candidates achieving a flawless score.
Moving forward, the successful candidates are now required to proceed with their application for admission to universities based on the choices they specified in their examination application forms.
