NEET 2018 result was declared on June 04, 2018. Over 13 lakh students appeared for NEET 2018 out of which 56.27% of candidates qualified the exam by getting the minimum cut-off score. NEET 2018 cut-off has shown a sharp dip as compared to previous year’s result. The months of sincere and serious preparation have been rewarded with the sense of achievement and triumph.
But as we all know the medical entrance exam for admission in public and private medical colleges has tough competition, it is not possible for every student to crack the exam. Though every student wants to crack the exam in the first try, due to the extreme competition it is easier said than done. If you are also one of the students who couldn’t crack NEET 2018, don’t lose your heart.
Life always gives you a second chance and you should always grab this. Now as you know your result, it is the time to move ahead and give your best shot to crack NEET 2019. Instead of feeling rejected, read the blog here and check what to do next.
1. Check what went wrong
Before falling into the depths of distress and discouragement, remember you are not alone. It is natural to be disheartened. The first instinct is to write off all your efforts as worthless. But maybe you just need to change the way you study. Maybe some important chapters and concepts need a little more clarity and polish. You might need a lecturer who could teach you as per your level of understanding.
If you couldn’t answer all the questions in the exam due to some doubts or topics you skipped during preparation, you should ask yourself, “Did you learn through a method that works for your brain?” To get the desired results, it is essential to choose the learning style that suits your personality and learn in a way that it makes a way through your cognition, settles and makes connections with other knowledge and consequently comes out promptly during the exam.
2. Don’t Let Failure Stop You
Failing is considered bad. But a failure is not the end; it’s just another opportunity to know and kick away your flaws. It is a chance to learn, grow and come back stronger. You attract the kind you are. So, if you desire the respect and recognition of being an engineer, you need to match up to that level in all aspects, be it in the strength of your concepts, your ability to picture and apply the concepts and be creative. Find your errors and work on their corrections to perform better in NEET 2019. Forget rote learning and dive into the imaginations of concepts

3. Find a Teacher Who Understands Your Needs
If you think the syllabus is difficult and out of your reach, you need a personal tutor who can understand your problems, one who can pinpoint and pack up the loopholes with the missing link, hence reinforcing your knowledge. In case of any difficulty that makes you feel it’s impossible to crack NEET 2019, a tutor can accommodate your level and help you grow to your utmost capabilities. Live interactive classes make a great choice to find a teacher, who can understand your level and teach you in a way that suits you the best. During live interactive classes, teachers keep asking questions to understand how well you are getting the topic and clear the doubts immediately.
4. Save Your Time
Every minute is crucial for the candidates preparing for the entrance exam for the second time. Every Student who managed to qualify the NEET 2018 Exam had the same 24 hours a day. The difference is that they used it more constructively. You need to make an effective study plan where you can utilize every minute wisely. For instance, if you feel that you waste a lot of time in traveling to attend the classes, you can enroll for live interactive classes where you get the same classroom-like experience at the convenience of your home.
Further, as this is your second time, you might not need to spend the same time and efforts on all the subjects. Make a list of subjects that need more preparation and revision for NEET 2019 and enroll for subject specific courses at Aakash iTutor. Recorded video lectures on different subjects help you revise the selected topics until you master them.
5. Don’t Give Up
Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. Don’t you think giving up on your dream is a bigger failure than not able to crack the exam? If this has been your childhood dream, go for it once again by taking admission in NEET 2019 repeat course. Get set again with renewed vigor and new methods like opting for online NEET coaching.
