Are you a JEE applicant preparing to appear for the JEE exam? There are several things that students or candidates must accomplish to succeed. It essentially entails cultivating a positive mentality and devoted effort and smart work while being inspired. Aside from that, students must use the appropriate study materials while preparing for JEE Mains and Advanced 2023.

The Difference Between the JEE Main and JEE Advanced Syllabus

Apart from the textbooks, applicants should be familiar with the JEE syllabus, particularly for JEE Main and JEE Advanced. There is a little difference between the two courses. In comparison to JEE Main, JEE Advanced includes several additional topics. JEE Main focuses on topics up to the NCERT level. Meanwhile, the JEE Advanced syllabus digs deeper into those subjects. Therefore, it makes JEE Advanced preparation more complex. However, if done in a systematic way, this can be made easier.

    Question level:

JEE Mains papers feature straight questions from NCERT, and the number of questions in Mains demands a less brainstorming approach for an average score of 200+, but for 300+, it requires logic, some guesses, and more confidence in oneself.

Whereas JEE Advanced requires considerably more logic and topic depth for score and admission to IITs, this may be felt correctly on your side depending on your level and studies if you browse through the past year’s JEE questions.

    Paper Pattern:

The most complex issue for any student, and potentially for the faculty, is generating a complex pattern in the JEE Advanced exam, but Mains has the same format every year, and most educational institutes like Aakash BYJU’S  conduct several mock tests to check the preparation level of students.

Students begin preparing for the prestigious Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) before completing higher secondary school. The IIT JEE test is regarded as one of the most difficult in India. A thorough preparation approach is required to get admission to the top institutes, which are highly placed in the NIRF rankings. It is also mandatory to be aware of the best books to help you ace both the JEE Mains and the JEE Advanced exams.

Knowing what things to study is the first step while preparing for any exam. Subject-specific expertise with an understanding of weightage is desirable. So prepare a list of the things you need to study thoroughly for JEE Mains and Advanced and get started straight away. To create that list, you need to be familiar with the JEE Main & Advanced syllabus and vital subjects to study. Students must also note that the test has an equal amount of questions from physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Only then can you construct a list of the finest JEE Main  & Advanced study books.

Remember to make thorough notes when reading these books to avoid re-reading unimportant material. After you’ve finished each topic, make it a point to answer the mock tests or practice MCQs on it. It will provide you with a hint of how well you understand the topic. Take as many practise tests as you can and solve as many sample papers and previous year’s papers as you can. It can help you build your self-confidence and prepare for the forthcoming exam.

Remember that success is the accumulation of simple efforts that are repeated on a daily basis. So, if you want to crack JEE, be sure to make the most of each day by fulfilling the small goals you set for yourself every day. For JEE Mains and Advanced preparation, use the books listed above. You will easily understand the subjects after going over these books’ principles and practice questions.
