The Online application process for NEET UG 2023 has begun. Candidates can apply for the medical entrance test on the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA), neet.nta.nic.in. The last date to apply for NEET 2023 is April 6. The entrance test will be held on May 7, 2023. Dates for other exam-related activities, including admit card release date will be announced later.
The eligibility criteria and syllabus of NEET UG 2023 will be mentioned in the information bulletin which will be published once the registration process is over. NEET 2023 notification, mentioning application start and end date, correction window, etc. will also be hosted on the exam website.
NEET Exam 2023: Registration Begins
NEET Exam 2023 registration has already begun on March 6, 2023. Candidates can apply for the same online through the official site of NEET at neet.nta.nic.in.
NEET 2023 is to Be Conducted in 13 languages
NEET UG 2023 will be held in 13 languages which include:

Candidates need to select their preferred language while filling out the application form.
NEET 2023: Marking Scheme
In NEET 2023, each subject (Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology) will be divided into two sections. Section A will consist of 35 compulsory questions. Section B will consist of 15 questions in total out of which students need to attempt any 10.
In both sections, +4 will be awarded for every correct answer and -1 for every incorrect answer, and 0 for not attempted/marked for review answers. If more than one option is correct then +4 will be awarded to those who have marked any of the correct options. If all options are found to be correct then +4 will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question.
The difference in the marking scheme is that for incorrect questions or dropped questions, all candidates who have appeared will be given four marks in section A, irrespective of the fact whether the question has been attempted or not. However, in section B, only those who have attempted the question will get full marks in such a situation.
NEET 2023 Increase in Exam Fee
The application fee for NEET has increased for all candidates. Mentioned below are the complete fee details for each category.
- General/UR – ₹1700
- EWS/OBC-NCL– ₹1600
- SC/ST/PWD/Third Gender – ₹900
- Candidates outside India – ₹9,500
All applicants have to pay GST and processing charges which will be in addition to exam fees.
