    jee main exam

It cannot be contradicted that the last phase of preparation is a crucial juncture. With barely a week to go, it is normal to get a little jittery in anticipation of the exam. However, you need to get over your fears and give it your best shot as cracking JEE is imperative to give a head start to your engineering dreams. True JEE is a hard shell to crack

the following 7 tips can help you make the cut in just 7 days.

    1. Divide the days

At this crucial time when every second counts, it is advisable to make the most of your time. You should therefore divide your days subject wise. Pick up the subject you are strong in first as it you’ll be able to quickly go through it saving time for the other subjects. You can divide the days at your sole discretion according to what suits you the best. It should not necessarily be divided uniformly.

    1. Flip through your notes

With barely a week left and the clock fast ticking, it is time to flip through your notes, go through the cheat sheet, take a look at the important topics etc as it will quickly brush up your knowledge in a short time, thereby saving your precious time.

    1. Learn nothing new

The most important strategy that you can employ now is revising what you already know and strictly avoiding the unread portions. Utilise this crucial time by strengthening your knowledge and concepts by revising them. Learning new things at this point of time will only confuse you and waste your time.

    1. Solve time bound tests in a proctored environment

If not now then when? Take time bound tests and in a proctored environment. This will not only introduce you to a real exam scenario but also infuse enough confidence in you to enter the exam hall without feeling anxious. In addition, it will help you keep track of your speed and accuracy and devise an exam strategy in advance.

    1. Still doubts? Fix them

If you still have doubts or need further clarification, do it now. Do not enter the exam hall with any kind of hesitation or uncertainties regarding any concept or topic. Reach out to your teacher or peers and fix all your queries. This is the time to strengthen what you know and be confident about your preparation.

    1. Work smart, prepare faster

With time slipping away so quickly it is important for you to work smartly and revise what you already know. Be attentive and alert during your revision and pay extra attention to important topics. In addition, ensure that you know all the important formulas, equations etc.

    1. Beat the exam blues with a positive mindset

Last but not the least, adopt a positive mindset. Always remember that a positive attitude keeps negativity at bay and helps cope with exam stress. It is imperative to get rid of all your anxieties before the D-Day and attempt the exam will a fresh mind. For that it is essential to eat right, sleep well and have faith in your abilities.
