IIT aspirants woke up to a 4-day delay in the exam date for JEE Advanced 2020 this Monday Morning. As per the latest notification by the JEE Advanced conducting agency, IIT Delhi, the JEE Advanced 2020 exam date has now been shifted to 27th September 2020 instead of 23rd September.
The JEE exam scheduled for 23rd September 2020 has now been postponed and a new schedule has been released. Apart from the date change, no other amendments have been made to the conduct and structure of JEE Advanced examination. It will continue to be a computer-based test and would be conducted in two slots – morning and afternoon for B.Tech and B.Arch courses respectively. For 2020, the exam conducting body will be the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi.
As per the sources, the delay in the JEE Advanced 2020 has been caused due to highly expected delay in the JEE Main 2020 Result announcement schedule. The tentative date for JEE Main 2020 Result is September 11, 2020.
After the exam will be held on 27th September, the seat allocation process is expected to begin in the 1st week of November. The anticipated completion date for the same is November 9, 2020.
