1. Start Revising & Practice NCERT Questions
NCERT is your go-to guide when it comes to acing CBSE board exams. Start revising each chapter and topic, you may also revise from the notes you have prepared. Apart from revising, make sure to practice all NCERT questions, as 90 percent of the questions are from NCERT books. You can also take help from our Important concepts and NCERT Solutions section, which explains each and every topic in detail and you can also download PDFs of all NCERT book exercises solutions.
2. Familiarize Yourself With the Exam Pattern
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a new evaluation scheme for Class 10 students. According to CBSE, the examinations will be conducted offline from February 15, and the examination pattern will be the same as the sample papers. We suggest you practice sample papers and get yourself familiar with the CBSE exam pattern.
3. Simulate A Real Examination Set-Up
As you already know the duration of the examination will be 90 minutes, the timings would be 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. A week prior to the exam, schedule subjectwise 90-minute practice sessions for yourself, and the timings should also be the same. Your aim should be to solve as many questions as possible, you can also solve a sample paper to stimulate board exams.
4. Eat Healthy & Get Proper Sleep
If you have a habit of studying at night and binge eating, we suggest you change this routine before exams. It will only exhaust your body and mind, to be the most productive on your exam day, we suggest you start your day early with a morning workout, eat healthily, and get proper 8 hours of sleep.
5. Keep Everything Ready For Exams
Whether it’s your examination hall ticket, ID proof, stationary, or any other documents. Keep them ready in advance, so that you don’t panic later. Visit the examination hall a few days before the examination, so you know the exact location and time to reach the examination hall. This will help you in eliminating future delays.
CBSE Board Exams 2023: Instructions
- Students must report before the time at the examination centers – the official reporting time is by 9:30 am.
- Gates of the Examination Centers would be closed at 10:00 am – students would not be allowed to enter after the gates are closed
- Students need to carry their CBSE Roll Number duly signed along with their school identity card or any other official Photo ID card – admit cards not signed would not be considered and the student can be stopped at the gate
- The time of the examination is mentioned in the CBSE Date Sheet as well as the admit cards issued to the students
- Board Exam begins at 10:30 am and ends at 12:30 or 1:30 pm (depending on the subject). Additional time is given to students with special needs.
- Various facilities like computers and scribes are also available – parents must go through the CBSE Circular for the same to be aware of the same and request in case not made available
- Students are required to carry the pens and colors as per the requirement of the subject – only the answer sheet and the question paper are provided at the center
- Diabetic students and students with other special medical needs are allowed to carry their medicine and a small snack for the examination
