The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board has released the WBJEE 2023 OMR sheet. The answer sheet has been released on May 17, 2023. Candidates who appeared in the exam can check and download their response sheet now on the official website wbjee.nic.in.
As per the official notification, “If any candidate is not satisfied with the captured response, he/she can claim before 20 May (upto 4.00 p.m) for review. The claim is to be lodged in one session. The candidate has to pay a non-refundable processing fee of ₹500 per response to be reviewed through net banking/ debit card/ credit card. No claim will be reviewed if the fee payment is not successful.”
Candidates should know that the question booklet number is also displayed on the official website. In such cases where candidates are not satisfied with the response sheet, they will have to inform the same WBJEEB by email to wbjeeb@gmail.com.

- Then click on the link which reads, “Notice OMR Recorded Response WBJEE 2023”

If candidates are unsatisfied with the same, they should make sure to claim well before May 20 by 4 pm. Objections raised by candidates post-deadline will not be accepted in any case.

When will WBJEE 2023 be held?
WBJEE 2023 was held on April 30. The examination was held as a pen-and-paper-based test for all eligible candidates at 22 districts in West Bengal. Outside the state, WBJEE 2023 was conducted in Assam (Silchar) and Tripura (Agartala). Candidates were able to select their choice of exam centre while filling out the application form. The entrance exam was 4 hours in duration and had two papers: Paper 1 (Mathematics) and Paper 2 (Physics and Chemistry).
Is WBJEE conducted in online or offline mode?
WBJEE is conducted offline as a pen and paper-based test. Candidates have to report at the exam centres and answer the questions in an OMR paper. The WBJEE question paper consists of 155 multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The total duration of the examination is 4 hours. WBJEE question paper is divided into three categories: Category I (only one answer option is correct), Category II (only one answer option is correct) and Category III (one or more answer options are correct).
Where can I check the official WBJEE 2023 syllabus?
The official WBJEE 2023 syllabus is available online at wbjeeb.nic.in. The details regarding the topics to be studied from Physics Chemistry and Mathematics are available in the syllabus. WBJEE 2023 syllabus is similar to the 11th and 12th standard syllabi. Therefore, the candidates are advised to check the syllabus before starting their preparation for WBJEE. Through the syllabus, the candidates will be able to understand which topics have to be prepared for the examination and to have a higher chance of securing good marks in the examination.
When will WBJEEB declare WBJEE counselling 2023?
WBJEEB will conduct the WBJEE counselling 2023 after the results are declared. The official WBJEE 2023 counselling dates are yet to be announced. The authorities are expected to conduct three rounds of WBJEE counselling including a mop-up round. Through the counselling process, the qualified candidates will be able to select their choice of colleges and courses in the order of preference. Seat allotment will be done based on the candidate's preferences, rank and seat availability.
