Hyderabad Central University or the University of Hyderabad more popularly known as UoH, was instituted 1974 as a central university as per the Act of Parliament. Situated at Gachibowli, Hyderabad, it has one of the second-largest campuses of a central university in India, including 2500 acres of campus – outranked only by Banaras Hindu University (BHU).
