Certificates of achievement and acknowledgement will be given to the selected individuals. Based on how well they did in Level 1, the students could be able to move on to more complex programmes or rounds.

SOF IMO Exam Short Description
The International Mathematics Olympiad is an annual academic competition organised by SOF for students in classes 1-12 to evaluate their knowledge and skills in mathematical reasoning and logical ability. The SOF IMO is held every year for students studying in Classes 1 to 12. The exam pattern generally consists of multiple-choice questions and problem-solving tasks.
Exam Dates for IMO 2025-26 Level 1
IMO Level 1 is held on three different dates

This IMO Olympiad is a two-stage exam, and after qualifying for Level 1, students have to attempt Level 2 to achieve merit rank and prizes. The SOF IMO is held on three dates for Level 1, with schools choosing one date for their students.
Students in grades 1st through 12th are eligible to participate in the first-level Olympiad, per eligibility requirements. Level 2 is an advanced exam for qualifiers from Classes 3 to 12 only. There is no Level 2 for students in Classes 1 and 2; their final results are based solely on Level 1.
