Punjab Education Board released the PSEB class 8th Result 2023 on April 28. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann felicitated three school girls who bagged top positions in the class 8 examination. As per the result updates, Samarpreet Kaur from Ludhiana got 99.67 percent marks while Lovepreet Kaur and Gurankit Kaur, both studying in the government girls senior secondary school in Mansa district’s Budhlada, scored 100 percent marks.
It is a day of pride and honor for Punjab as these daughters of the state have excelled in the exam through their hard work and dedication. It is said that the outstanding performance of these girls will make them a role model for other students. Not only this, but these girls will be an inspiration for other students to excel by studying education in government schools.
The chief minister stated that it is our duty to encourage these girls, seeing them more children will be encouraged to read and write. There is no one who is deprived of education, we will ensure that. Buses to and from schools will also be arranged in the near future.
This year, the top performing district in Punjab is Pathankot with a 99.33 percent record followed by Kapurthala and Gurdaspur with 99.10 percent and 99.08 percent respectively.
