The Pondicherry Engineering College is situated at Pillaichavady at the east coast road and is an engineering college initiated under the VII 5 Year Plan and is ranked 76th in engineering college as per the NIRF Rankings 2019. When it comes to college administration as well as recruitment of staff the college is an independent institution. The college currently provides 8 undergraduate and 13 postgraduate programs to its learners. The college provides undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in B.Tech and M.Tech in disciplines of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and more.
