Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has extended the deadline to apply for Class 9 and 11 lateral entry admission in 2024. Initially, the last date to apply was October 31, which was now been extended to November 7, 2023. NVS class 9 and 11 lateral entry exams are scheduled to be conducted on February 10, 2024. The NVS Class 9, 11 lateral entry registration link is active on the official website -navodaya.gov.in.
All eligible candidates are advised to complete the registration process as early as possible.
JNV Class 11 Admissions 2023 Eligibility
To be eligible to apply, candidates must have passed the Class 10 exam from the Central Board of Secondary Education and other recognized boards. Till now the eligibility criteria which is being followed state that the minimum age to apply should be 15 years and the upper age limit should be 17 years. The NVS Class 11 merit list was prepared based on the marks obtained by the applicants in Class 10 board exams and the availability of seats in the concerned JNVs.
JNV Class 9 Eligibility criteria
Only those candidates who are bonafide residents and studying Class VIII during the Academic Session 2023-24 in one of the government-recognized schools of the district where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is functioning and where admission is sought are eligible. The district of residence and district of Class VIII study should be the same concerning the candidates who desire to apply for admission to Class IX in the JNV located in the same district. All students who have passed class VIII in the previous academic sessions are not eligible.
