Today, i.e on 22nd July 2024, the Supreme Court is set to hear all the petitions filed against NEET Exam 2024. These petitions are filed against this year’s NEET exam result announcement. NEET exam controversy goes back to the sudden announcement of NEET UG results on 4th June 2024. Out of all the students who appeared for NEET exam this year, 67 students scored 720 out of 720 marks and were ranked All India Rank 1.
This result sparked controversy regarding the evaluation, allocation of grace marks and much more. It resulted in the formation of a committee to overlook the case. Since then the Supreme Court has been hearing this case. This case is being heard by one of the best bench of judges Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, Justice JB Pardiwala, and Justice Manoj Mishra.
