This provisional NEET UG Answer Key 2024 will be accessible to candidates who participated in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. By entering their application numbers, candidates can access the NEET Answer Key 2024. The NTA conducted the NEET examination on May 5, spanning across 4750 centers in 571 cities, including 14 international locations.
Candidates who appeared for the medical entrance exam will have the opportunity to raise grievances or challenges against the provisional answer key within a specified timeframe. - Visit the official website – https://exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/
- Click on “Challenge of Provisional Answer Key, Display of Scanned Images of OMR Answer Sheet and Display of Recorded Response for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) –2024”
- Download NEET Answer Key 2024 by entering the examination roll number/registration number and password.
- Your NEET Answer Key 2024 will be displayed on the screen. Download the PDF and print it for future reference.
NEET Marking Scheme:
- For Section A (MCQs): Candidates choose one option corresponding to the correct or most appropriate answer.
- Correct answer or the most appropriate answer: Four marks (+4)
- Any incorrect option marked: Minus one mark (-1)
- Unanswered: No mark (0)
- If more than one option is correct: Four marks (+4) awarded to those who marked any correct option.
- If all options are correct: Four marks (+4) awarded to all who attempted the question.
- If none of the options is correct or a question is found wrong or dropped: All candidates given four marks (+4), irrespective of attempt.
After downloading the provisional NEET Answer Key, identify correct responses and allocate 4 marks for each. Deduct 1 mark for each wrong response. Sum up correct responses and subtract deductions for wrong ones. Candidates may challenge the provisional Answer Key online, paying ₹200/- per answer challenged, within the specified period. Challenges will be verified by the NTA with subject experts. If a challenge is accepted, the NEET Answer Key will be revised accordingly for all candidates. The NEET result will be prepared and declared based on the revised Final Answer Key, with no individual notifications about challenge acceptance.
