Ayush’s journey is a true source of inspiration for thousands of NEET aspirants across India.
Ayush, originally from Kanpur, began his journey with Aakash Institute from Class 9 as part of the Classroom Program. Currently, he is a student at Aakash’s Centre of Excellence (COE) in Lucknow, preparing for his NEET UG 2025 attempt. While Ayush once dreamed of becoming a pilot during his childhood, his interest gradually shifted toward Biology as he progressed through his classes. Inspired by his elder sister, who is also a doctor and an Aakash alumna, Ayush developed a deep desire to pursue medicine.
Speaking about his preparation journey, Ayush credits Aakash Institute’s consistent support, study material, and regular test series for his outstanding result. He highlighted that giving ANTHE (Aakash National Talent Hunt Exam) played a significant role in helping him assess his preparation level early on, along with winning a scholarship that eased his academic journey.
NEET Topper AIR 53 Ayush’s NEET Preparation Strategy
For Ayush, NCERT books formed the backbone of his NEET preparation. He emphasized reading NCERT Biology, Chemistry, and Physics multiple times, underlining and noting important points, especially the ones that could form assertion-reason type questions. He had a habit of writing potential questions in the margins of his NCERT textbooks, making revision quicker and more effective.
Another key element in Ayush’s preparation was Aakash’s test series and modules. According to him, solving Aakash’s Full Syllabus Test (FTS) and participating actively in error analysis sessions were game changers in boosting his NEET score. He never missed a single test and regularly discussed doubts with his teachers. These consistent efforts helped him improve weaker topics and build confidence.
Ayush strongly believes that consistency and revision are the two pillars of NEET success. He mentioned that while preparing the whole year is important, the last three months before the exam are absolutely crucial. It’s the time to intensify revisions, solve previous year’s NEET papers, and focus on weak areas.
