Every year, NEET UG brings forward stories of determination, dedication, and success. One such inspiring journey is that of Tanisha, who secured All India Rank (AIR) 29 in NEET UG 2025. A regular classroom student at Aakash Institute, Kanpur, Tanisha’s journey proves that with consistent effort, the right guidance, and a positive mindset, dreams do come true.
Tanisha began her journey with Aakash Institute in Class 10 after being inspired by a neighbor who had excelled in board exams and NEET with the help of Aakash. She joined the classroom course at Aakash Kanpur after qualifying for Aakash National Talent Hunt Exam (ANTHE) with a 90% scholarship. This early exposure to competitive exam preparation set a strong foundation for her NEET success.
The Role of Aakash in Tanisha’s NEET Journey
Right from the start, Tanisha balanced her school studies with the structured programs at Aakash, including fortnightly subjective tests which helped strengthen her preparation for the board exams. Moving into Class 11, her focus shifted fully to NEET, supported by Aakash’s expertly crafted modules, regular test series, and faculty mentorship.
One of the key strategies Tanisha followed was emphasizing the first reading of chapters. She believes that reading a chapter thoroughly the first time makes revisions easier and more effective. Aakash’s comprehensive modules, combined with NCERT textbooks, gave her a perfect mix of conceptual clarity and exam-level practice.
Aakash’s Part Syllabus Tests (PSTs) and Full Syllabus Tests (FSTs) played a vital role in building her exam temperament and identifying weak areas. She appreciated how Aakash’s tests followed the actual NEET pattern, helping her manage time efficiently during exams.
Smart Study Techniques and Time Management
Unlike rigid study timetables, Tanisha preferred a flexible study routine, focusing on concept clarity before moving to problem-solving. For her, NCERT was the ultimate guide, especially for Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. She also benefited from exemplar questions and Aakash’s intensive test series after her board exams.
Tanisha emphasized the importance of mental well-being during the preparation journey. Regular breaks, full sleep, family conversations, and playing with her younger brother kept her motivated. Her parents, teachers, and the Aakash faculty provided continuous support, especially during difficult phases when doubts or low scores crept in.
Tanisha’s Message to Future NEET Aspirants
For students preparing for NEET UG, Tanisha’s advice is simple yet powerful: “Focus on what you’re doing, do it properly, and results will follow.” She encourages students to believe in their preparation, stay consistent, and never hesitate to ask for help when needed.
Aakash Institute is proud to have been a part of Tanisha’s journey. Her achievement of securing AIR 29 in NEET UG 2025 is a testament to her hard work and the guided mentorship she received at Aakash.
