How to Change Your NEET Exam Centre 2026

After the application process ends the NTA usually gives a chance to correct details. They open a correction window on their website. During this period candidates can change some details in their form.

For NEET 2026, the correction window is expected to be open from 12 March to 14 March 2026.

During this time, candidates can change their exam city as well. Here’s how:

1. First visit the NEET website.
2. Then log in with your application number and password.
3. Open the neet correction window.
4. Check whether the exam city field can be edited.
5. Select the new city if needed.
6. Save the changes.

Once the correction window closes, the exam city cannot be changed.

How to Check Your NEET Exam Centre

The NEET exam centre details are released in two steps.

First, NTA publishes a city intimation slip. This tells you the city where your exam will take place. It usually appears about ten days before the exam.

After that, the admit card is released. The admit card contains the full exam centre address, city and code of your exam centre as well as the instructions for the exam day.

To check your centre:

1. Go to the official NEET website.
2. Click the admit card link.
3. Log in using your application number.
4. First, download your city intimation slip.
5. Then, download the admit card.
6. Check the centre name and address details carefully.

We strongly recommend that you check the location early so you know how to reach the centre on exam day. Besides that, it’s best to print atleast two to three copies of your NEET admit card.

A few small things can save you trouble on the exam day:

• Reach the centre a little early.
• Make sure you have your admit card and photo ID with you before you leave your house.  
• Do not carry gadgets like phones and smart watches and calculators and other similar devices inside the exam hall. It is better if you do not bring them with you all.  
• Wear clothes that are comfortable. If you wear a lot of jewellery or things made of metal it will take a long time to get through the security check at the gate.
