Step-by-Step Guide: NEET 2025 Counselling Registration Process
To allow you to take part in NEET 2025 Counselling, you will have to enroll by carrying out the following steps:
- Make use of the MCC portal: Navigate to mcc.nic.in or enter the direct link.
- Click on new registration 2025: On the homepage, go to and click on the new registration 2025.

Apart from the registration fee, there is a refundable security deposit that needs to be paid:

These payments have to be made online. Only candidates who complete the payment can proceed to the choice filling and locking step. The refundable security deposit is returned if the candidate does not get a seat or after completion of counseling.
Seat Matrix and Choice Filling
NEET 2025 is offering 111,026 seats, and there are various categories. Once a candidate is registered, he/she will input the choice of courses and colleges in the window of choice filling (that is open between 22-28 July). It is a very critical stage; in this stage your preferences will be used to state the allotment during the seat allocation round.
Choice Locking:
Candidates will have to make a lock of their choice between 4 PM and 11.55 PM on July 28. When choices are locked, there is no way of changing them. Read all entries thoroughly before locking to avoid last-minute errors.
Seat Allotment and Reporting
Seat Allotment Result: Provisional seat allotment under Round 1 will be notified on July 31, 2025.
Institute Reporting: All candidates selected for a seat are required to attend at the specified institute between August 1 and 6, 2025, with all the mandatory documents as well as with the admission letter received online.
The nonreporting could lead to forfeiting the seat and this could be done within the stipulated time.
