Important Updates by NTA (JEE 2026 City Intimation Slip OUT)
- The advance intimation for allotment of Examination City for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 has been released.
- Candidates can check and download their Examination City Intimation Slip from the official website: https://jeemain.nta.nic.in
- The city intimation slip is available from 08 January 2026 onwards.
- Candidates must log in using their application number and password to access the slip.
- Carefully read all the instructions mentioned on the Examination City Intimation Slip.
- This is NOT the JEE Main 2026 admit card.
- The slip only provides advance information about the city where the examination centre will be located
- The official Admit Card for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 will be issued later by NTA.

In how many shifts is the JEE Main exam conducted?
JEE Main exam is in two shifts each day. First shift is from 9 am to 12 noon and second shift is from 3 pm to 5 pm. Exam is conducted over a period of 5-6 days. In total JEE Main has 10-12 shifts per session. Each session has different question paper set. The exam is for 3 hours.
