- The advance intimation for allotment of Examination City for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 has been released.
- Candidates can check and download their Examination City Intimation Slip from the official website: https://jeemain.nta.nic.in
- The city intimation slip is available from 08 January 2026 onwards.(Today)
- Candidates must log in using their application number and password to access the slip.
- Carefully read all the instructions mentioned on the Examination City Intimation Slip.
- This is NOT the JEE Main 2026 admit card.
- The slip only provides advance information about the city where the examination centre will be located.
- The official Admit Card for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 will be issued later by NTA.

What Should You Do After Checking the JEE City Intimation Slip?
After you check and download your NTA JEE Main city intimation slip, there is no need to panic.
- Check your JEE Main exam city carefully
- Start planning your travel
- Keep your login details safe
- Wait for the JEE Main admit card (after 4-5 days of JEE City Intimation released day)
Can You Change the JEE Main Exam Centre?
No, you can’t change your JEE Main Exam Centre. After NTA releases the JEE Main city intimation slip and later the JEE Main admit card, the exam city and exam centre are final. NTA does not allow any requests for changing the exam centre or city at this stage.
