The JEE-Advanced, known as one of the toughest entrance exams in the country, will take place on Sunday, May 26, across 222 cities in India and 3 cities abroad. Organized by IIT Madras, the exam will be held in two shifts: from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
In Kota, there will be two examination centers for the JEE-Advanced 2024. These centers will predominantly host girl students. The exam will utilize digital desks and viable solutions, with results expected to be announced on June 9.
Exam Day Schedule and Guidelines
- First Shift: Students must report to the examination center by 7:00 am. They will be assigned computers and desks at 8:30 am. Twenty-five minutes before the exam starts, students can log in with their JEE-Advanced roll number and date of birth to read the instructions. Paper-1 will conclude at 12:00 pm.
- Second Shift: There is a break of 2.5 hours between Paper-1 and Paper-2, but students should note that they need to be ready by 2:00 pm for desk and computer allocation. Students should ideally reach the examination center by 1:45 pm if they go home during the break. It’s advised to avoid discussing Paper-1 during the break and to have light snacks while staying hydrated.
