The Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Madras is scheduled to begin the registration for Joint Admission Test, JAM 2024 on September 5, 2023. Eligible candidates will be able to register for the exam on the official website – jam.iitm.ac.in. Registration will begin on September 5 and will continue till October 13. Registration is for the JAM 2024 exam which will be conducted on February 11, 2024. It is for admission to postgraduate programs in the IITs and participating institutes.
JAM 2024 is open to all nationals (Indian/Foreign). For admission, foreign nationals are required to satisfy the rules and regulations of the Admitting Institute Pertaining to foreign students.

- On the homepage, get yourself registered
- Enter the IIT JAM 2024 enrollment ID, Password, and captcha code to log in
- Fill in the application form, upload required documents and pay the application fee
- Submit the form
- Save and download
- Take a printout for future use
Documents Required When Filling JAM 2024 Applications
When filling out the IIT JAM 2024 applications, candidates are required to upload a set of documents that will be used for verification purposes. Candidates are required to upload the documents in the size and format mentioned in the application form.
- Nationality Certificate: Aadhar Card or First Page of Passport or Birth Certificate or Voter ID Card.
- Note: The name of the candidate in the application form must exactly be the same as per the Qualifying degree.
- X standard (SSC) Marksheet.
- If applicable, OBC (NCL)/ EWS/ SC/ ST Certificate in the specified format
- If applicable, PwD Certificate in the specified format.
- Marksheet of First Year of Qualifying Degree. If certificates are available as per semester, combine the certificates of 1st and 2nd semester.
- Marksheet of Second Year of Qualifying Degree. If certificates are available as per semester, combine the certificates of the 3rd and 4th semesters.
- If available, the Marksheet of the Third Year of the Qualifying Degree. If certificates are available as per semester, combine the certificates of 5th and 6th semester.
- If applicable, the Marksheet of the Fourth Year of the Qualifying Degree. If certificates are available as per semester, combine the certificates of 7th and 8th semester.
- If applicable, the Marksheet of the Fifth Year of the Qualifying Degree. If certificates are available as per semester, combine the certificates of the 9th and 10th semesters.
- If available, a consolidated Marksheet of all the years/semesters of the qualifying degree can be uploaded.

What is the JAM 2024 Application Fee?

About IIT JAM 2024
JAM 2024 will be a computer-based test for seven test papers including Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS), and Physics (PH). The question paper will comprise three sections including Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Select Questions (MSQs), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions. Through JAM 2024 scores, aspirants will get admission to programs including MSc, MSc (Technology), MSc-MTech Dual Degree, MS (R), Joint MSc-PhD, MSc-PhD Dual Degree, and Integrated PhD Programs.
