IIHT Salem was started in 1960 and is an Anna University Chennai. IIHT Courses

At present, IIHT provide professional and specialized courses for those students aspiring for a specialized carrier in the field of handloom and textile industry. The specializations contain Handloom and Textile Technology up to the degree and diploma, and Textile Processing for the postgraduate diploma. IIHT Eligibility

The minimum qualifications required in admittance to the courses offered at IIHT differs according to the level and area of specialty. To be eligible to apply for the course B.Tech Handloom and Textile Technology the candidate must have his / her 10+2 qualification with PCM, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
