About JEE Advanced
JEE Advanced is conducted annually for students who have qualified JEE Mains, organized by one of the IITs each year. While JEE Main facilitates admission to several National Institute of Technologies (NITs) and other centrally funded engineering colleges in India, JEE Advanced is the gateway to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Students must clear JEE Main to be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced.
In 2024, a total of 180,200 candidates appeared in both papers 1 and 2 of JEE Advanced, out of which 48,248 candidates qualified.
