CUET UG 2023 Phase 6 Live Updates: The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2023 exam dates have been extended by the National Testing Agency (NTA). According to the official notice available on the CUET UG website, cuet.samarth.ac.in, the CUET UG exams will now conclude on June 17.
In an official statement, the NTA explained the reason for the extension, stating, “There are some cities where the count of registered candidates is very large, so the CUET (UG) – 2023 examination will be extended to 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17 June 2023.” As a result, the city intimation slips and admit cards for candidates whose examinations are not yet scheduled will be provided on later dates.
These extended dates have been labeled as “phase six” by the NTA. The NTA further clarified, “All those candidates who have not been issued an admit card/city intimation slip yet or any of the Test paper(s) opted by them in the application have not been scheduled yet, will be scheduled in Phase 6, i.e., 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17 June 2023. This will be the final Phase for CUET (UG) – 2023. The buffer dates will be 21, 22, and 23 June 2023.”
The NTA also provided statistics on the number of students appearing in each phase of the CUET. In phase 1, 8.05 lakh students appeared, followed by 6.73 lakh students in phase 2, 8.60 lakh students in phase 3, 1.73 lakh students in phase 4, and 1.27 lakh students in phase 5.
