Central University of Jammu (CUJ), Jammu is a Central University, fully funded by the Government of India through Central Universities Act, 2009. The Central University of Jammu came into existence in the year 2011, The University building is located and Under construction in the rural area at Village Bagla, Raya Suchani in District Samba, The university is built in a campus area of 600 Acres. The CUJ is envisaged to become one of the premier Centres for higher learning, where the ethos and antecedent virtues of the heritage system are linked with other contempoary ideals of culture, philosophy, science and value system along with other cardinal principles of knowledge and technology management.
The university now has five-year Integrated (UG /PG) programmes, several PG and Ph.D. programmes in nearly all schools. Still it provides Electronics and Communication Engineering and ECE (Avionics) under IIST-ISRO mentorship at “School of Engineering” CUJ Central University of Jammu.ded by the Central Government.
