CBSE Supplementary Exams will be conducted between July 6 to July 20. For CBSE Class 12 exam, a student is declared pass in a subject if he/she secures 33% marks combining both in theory and practical as well as separately in each subject.
The notice issued by CBSE also reads “If any student was unable to secure 33% marks in the practical in the main examination then they have been placed in the compartment category and marked as Repeat in Practical. Such students will have to appear in the practical examination only in the Supplementary exam. There is no need for such students to appear for the theory exams once again. The previous theory marks will be counted to calculate the overall marks.
Candidates who would be appearing for the Class 10 & 12 practical examinations can check the official website -cbse.gov.in. The practical exam will be conducted in their schools for regular candidates and for private candidates the practical exam will be conducted in the examination centres fixed for the theory examination.
CBSE Compartment Exam 2023: How to Download Date Sheet?
Students need to follow the steps mentioned below to download their date sheet:
- Visit the official website – cbse.gov.in
- On the homepage, click on the Date Sheet for Supplementary Exam 2023 for Class X/XII.
- The date sheet will be displayed on the screen
- Download and keep a copy of the same
All those students, who have been placed in the compartment category due to repeat in theory and practical both shall have to appear in the practical as well as the theory examination in the supplementary exam.
