All those students dissatisfied with their Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) 2024 results can now request a verification of marks. Besides the verification, students can also apply for photocopies of their answer sheets and request a re-evaluation. The deadline to apply for CBSE Class 12-mark verification is May 21, and applications must be submitted online at cbse.gov.in.
The CBSE Class 12 results were announced on May 13. Out of the 16,21,224 students who took the exam, 14,26,420 passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 87.98%. Additionally, 1,22,170 students have been placed in the compartment category.
“Candidates applying for verification of marks will only be eligible to apply for obtaining a photocopy of the evaluated answer book. Candidates who have applied for and received a photocopy of their answer book will only then be eligible to apply for re-evaluation,” stated the board.
The board also clarified that all processes, including application submission and fee payment, will be conducted online. Any decrease in scores, even by one mark, will be reflected. In cases of score changes, students must return their original 2024 Class 12 marksheets, and new ones will be issued.
